Vi var på vej til the Sabine River & Northern Railroad, en ca. 60 km shortline i det østligste Texas. SRN ejes af de papirmøller som den betjener. Her er vores første møde med SRN, ved dens udvekslingssted med Union Pacific ved Mauriceville, Texas.

We were on our way to the Sabine River & Northern Railroad, a shortline of app. 40 miles in eastern TX. The SRN is owned by the paper mills that it serves. Here is our first glimpse of the SRN at its interhange point with the UP near Mauriceville TX.
