Vi smuttede over på Arizona-siden af broen, til Topock. Et tog mod Californien glider ned mod broen. Vognene på det nærmeste spor er overskudsmateriel til efterårets højsæson. De stod i mange sidespor over hele ørkenen, men BNSF var begyndt at hante dem til drift igen.

We went across to the Arizona side of the bridge, to Topock. A train to California glides towards the bridge. The cars on the near track are stored for the fall intermodal peak season. They were in many sidings across the desert, but BNSF had started to pull them back into service.
