Mandag morgen mødtes vi med en lokal "guide", Larry Smith, som ville vise os rundt i området. Vi startede i Bessemer, i den sydvestlige udkant af Birmingham. Det er NS-strækningen fra dagen før, men der kom ingen tog mens vi var der.

Monday morning we met with a local railfan, Larry Smith, who were to guide us around the area. We started at Bessemer, in the southwestern outskirts of Birmingham. It's the NS-line from the day before, but unfortunately there was no trains while we were there.
