Og så får AVR signal til at bakke ind i Island Avenue Yard igen. Der er også sat signal for et tog fra Pittsburgh Line. Det ligner egentlig ikke NS at have strækningsspor i så ringe kvalitet, men det er nok gamle synder fra længe før NS-tiden. Og afvandingsproblemerne er formentlig ikke lette at udbedre på et sted som dette.

Jeg havde desværre ikke tid til at køre over til South Side for at få billedet jeg jagtede dagen før. Jeg  skulle videre til Kiski Junction Railroad hvor jeg skulle nå at komme med toget klokken 14.

And the AVR gets the signal to back into Island Avenue Yard again. There's also a cleared signal for a westbound off the Pittsburgh Line. It's not really like NS to have mainline tracks in this poor quality, but likely this dates back way before the NS-era. And the drainage problems are likely not easy to fix in a location like this.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to head for South Side to get the picture I was after the day before. I had to press on to the Kiski Junction railroad for the 2PM train.
