Vicksburg er et interessant sted at kigge på tog. Grænsen mellem staterne Louisiana og Mississippi er Mississippi-floden. Vicksburg ligger ved Mississippi, og lige syd for byen krydses floden af denne bro. Broen bagved er motorvejen Interstate 20, som følger KCS Transcon Division forholdsvis tæt. Der var ikke megen aktivitet om morgenen, og vi var begyndt at blive nervøse for en gentagelse af gårsdagens mangel på tog. Men op ad formiddagen begyndte der at ske noget, og det første var dette tog fra Shreveport.

Vicksburg is an interesting place to railfan. The border between the states of Louisiana and Mississippi is the Mississippi River. Vicksburg is located by the river, and just south of town the KCS Transcon crosses the Mississippi on this bridge. The bridge in the background is Interstate 20, which parallels the Transcon There wasn't much activity in the morning, and we were starting to worry that yesterday's lack of trains was going to repeat itself. But in the late morning things started to happen, this eastbound being the beginning.
