Næste stop var Gibsland, Louisiana, ca. 70 km øst for Shreveport. Gibsland ligger på KCS' Transcon Division, og er også hjem for en shortline ved navn Louisiana & Northwest. KCS' Transcon Division er lige bag mig, og dette er L&NW's lille maskindepot. Det ligger syd for KCS-strækningen selv om L&NW's strækning går mod nord. Sporet til højre er et forbindelsesspor til KCS, og sporet i baggrunden fortsætter i en KCS-sidebane mod syd.

Next stop was Gibsland LA, app. 45 miles east of Shreveport. Gibsland is on the KCS Transcon Division, and is also home to the Louisiana & NorthWest shortline. KCS' Transcon Division is behind me, and this is L&NW's little engine facility. It's located south of the KCS main, though the L&NW line runs north from here. The track to the right is a connector to the KCS, and in the background the track extends into a KCS branch that runs south.
