Og her er så "bagsiden" af det forrige foto. Nemlig KCS' Transcon Division på tværs og L&NW der krydser i niveau. Man bemærker det absolut enkle sikringsanlæg der regulerer færdslen :-) Såvel KCS som L&NW er "usignalerede" (dvs. uden automatisk linieblok), og derfor kan man klare sig med dette lavpraktiske arrangement! Signalet til venstre har ikke noget med krydsningen at gøre, men hører til et sporskifte til KCS' krydsningsspor. Mere om de signaler senere.

And here is the "flipside" of the previous photo. Which is the KCS Transcon Division with the L&NW crossing over. One will notice the old fascioned "gate" across the L&NW. Both the KCS and the L&NW are dark territory (i.e. without automatic block signaling), and thus the gate can do the job. The signal to the left has nothing to do with the crossing, but indicates a switch to the KCS siding. More about those signals later.
